南インド・ケーララ、精神の高鳴り ディビン・ティラカン展

先進的で自由な気風で知られる南インド、ケーララ。伝統芸術やコンテンポラリーアートの宝庫でもあるかの地から、瞠目するようなナイーブな感性のアーティストが初来日します。

◆ディビン・ティラカン profile
画家。1989年、インド・ケーララ州生まれ。同州トリシュール在住。ハイデラバード大学 SN School of Art and Communication 絵画修士課程修了。
インド伝統の細密画を想起させるキャラクターたちが、宗教画のような美しい色彩の中ではしゃぎ、ミステリアスなポーズをとっている。ディビン・ティラカンの絵は観る者の創造力をかきたて、楽しい感情とともに別次元の旅へと誘う。ウィットとユーモアに満ちたディビンの表現には、根源的な優しさと生命への賛歌が込められている。

＊岡埜桂子さんがケーララの伝統的なダンス、モヒニヤッタムを披露することが決まりました。
友人であるディビンの展覧会をダンスで応援してくれます。岡埜さんは10年間ケーララに通い続けてモヒニヤッタムを習得した人。
ツォモリリ文庫ディレクターのおおくにと浜尾は、先日、ケーララのイリニャーラクダという街で、3時間踊り続けた彼女のリサイタルを観てきましたが、動きの美しさ、キレはもちろんのこと、物語に引き込む表現力が半端なくて、思わず涙が出ました。ディビンの絵はもちろんですが、このモヒニヤッタムを観ることにも大変な価値があります。

レセプションはどなたでも参加していただけます。フードはツォモリリ文庫が用意致します。
ドリンクオーダー制（ワンドリンク500円）となります。

South India Kelara is well-known as an advanced and freehearted atmosphere. As well as it is an treasury of traditional art and contemporary art. From the land, an artist Dibin Thilakan who is naive and whom you will be gazing at will come to Japan for the first time for this show.

Dibin Thilakan
Born in 1989, Kerala, living in Thrissur. Graduated from M.F.A Painting, SN School of Arts and Communication, University of
Hyderabad.
Characters, which remind Indian traditional miniature painting, are frisking or posing mysteriously in beautiful colors like religious painting. Dibin Thilakan’s way of painting arouses viewer’s creativities and takes them to another dimension with the feeling of joy. In the back of his expressions full of wit and humor, there is fundamental tenderness and a song of praise for life.

Keiko Okano will perform Mohiniyattam which is traditional performance in Kerala. Keiko  has been practicing Mohiniyattam over 10 years and performs in Kerala, too.
